Why No Kings?
No Kings is a small refusal.
We don’t need strongmen. We need strong communities. We need public goods. We need the boring, beautiful infrastructure that keeps people informed, educated, and connected. And we need to stay united.
So we made coffee that helps fund #resistance movements that we agree with. That’s it. That’s the whole plot.
If you want to do more than drink coffee, good. If you only want coffee, also good. Resistance takes many forms. Some of them are brewed.
Where Does the Money Go
Every bag sends $2 to Indivisible.
Why? Because we're stronger together.
What's With the Name?
Because history keeps reminding us that kings—literal or metaphorical—don’t end well.
“No Kings” is shorthand for rejecting authoritarianism, political idol worship, and the idea that any one person should rule unchecked. It’s pro-democracy, pro-accountability, and deeply allergic to boot-licking.
Also, it looks great on a coffee bag.
Is This a Political Coffee Brand?
Yes—but not in the way you’re used to.
We’re not here to tell you how to vote. We are here to say that authoritarianism, fascism, and cults of personality are bad ideas, historically speaking.
If you believe democracy is worth defending, you’re in the right place. If that bothers you, there are plenty of other coffees that won’t challenge you at all.
Who is No Kings Coffee For?
No Kings Coffee is for:
- People who like good coffee
- People who think democracy is fragile
- People who are tired of pretending politics don’t affect daily life
- People who enjoy a little principle with their caffeine
If you want coffee that politely avoids reality, this might not be your cup.
Where Does the Coffee Come From?
Our coffees are sourced through trusted importers and roasted in small batches by professional roasters.
We focus on quality, consistency, and ethical sourcing—not buzzwords, not hype, and definitely not crypto-bro nonsense.
Why Public Broadcasting?
Indivisible exists to help ordinary people organize, show up, and push back when democratic norms are threatened. It’s practical, decentralized, and grounded in the belief that lasting change comes from sustained civic engagement—not saviors, not strongmen, not vibes.
Indivisible doesn’t chase headlines. It builds infrastructure.
It doesn’t wait for permission. It acts.
And it understands that democracy is something you do, not something you inherit.
Supporting Indivisible is a way to turn concern into participation—and participation into pressure.
Quiet acts of resistance still matter.
Organized ones matter more.
Is No Kings Coffee Affiliated With Any Political Party?
No.
We’re aligned with values, not parties. Democracy over authoritarianism. Truth over propaganda. Accountability over personality cults.
If one party consistently offends those values, that’s not our fault—it’s just math.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Currently, No Kings Coffee ships within the United States.
International shipping may be added later, but we’re keeping things manageable and sustainable for now.
Is Your Packaging Recyclable?
Yes. Our coffee bags are designed to be recyclable where facilities exist.
We’re continually reviewing materials and suppliers to balance sustainability with keeping the lights on.
Is No Kings Coffee Part of Another Brand?
Yes. No Kings Coffee is part of the broader Skeleton Brew ecosystem.
Skeleton Brew supports independent media, creative projects, and small acts of cultural defiance—usually with coffee involved.
I Don't Agree with Your Politics. Can I Still Buy Your Coffee?
Absolutely.
You don’t need ideological purity to enjoy good coffee. We’re not checking credentials at checkout.
But if the idea of opposing authoritarianism feels offensive, you probably won’t enjoy the vibe—and that’s okay.
How can I support No Kings Coffee beyond buying coffee?
- Share the site
- Talk about it
- Support public broadcasting directly
- Stay engaged
- Stay curious
- Stay skeptical of anyone promising to “fix everything”
Democracy isn’t a spectator sport.
Are you affiliated with any other “No Kings” movements?
Only indirectly.
“No Kings” is an idea that shows up in a lot of places, especially in moments when people start getting uncomfortable with power concentrating in the wrong hands. We didn’t invent the phrase, and we don’t own it.
No Kings Coffee is not officially affiliated with any political group, movement, organization, or campaign. We operate independently and make our own decisions about what we support and how we support it.
If others are saying “no kings” too, that’s not coordination—it’s convergence.
History does that sometimes.
